It’s great that I lose a few pounds. I am having diarrhea these past two days. It might have something to do with the water bottle I’m using.
Actually this is my day 3 after my first phase of SBD.

In this phase I am now allowed to eat rice. Though, I’ve introduced rice to my diet. I ate enriched bread and white rice. I know I should have eaten wholewheat or brown rice.
With this transition to phase 2, I noticed that I did not lose much weight as I was when I got into phase 1.
What’s more I’ve been doing aerobics exercises everyday and increase from an hour exercise to two hour exercise. I am expecting to lose more weight and not a slow down my weight loss.

Finally, dropped a .2% on my Body Fat. Yesterday, I was all out on my cardio. I started doing the RPM, a cycling class for 45mins and then Body Jam for 55 minutes.

Hmm, weight is going down. Body Fat and Body Water remains the same.
Lost a pound today.

Okay, I ate a heartful meal yesterday and went intense on my Body Jam class. That should credit for the pound I lost.
I realize that when I starved my self I will not lose weight the next day. But, if I eat properly and do the Body Jam I would lose weight. But, I eat within my meal plan and restrict to the 1500 calories per day.
On going intense on my Body Jam class, I did not slow down when my heart rate went to as high as 160. As a result, my knee hurts today. Good thing there won’t be a Body Jam class today. Hmm, I might try go to a Body Balance class.
Note: 2 more days to go and I’m done with my Phase 1. So far since I started at 102.5kg (225.5lbs) I am now down to 98.8kg (217.36lbs) and that’s 3.7kg(8.14lbs). Not bad! Though, I am expecting to lose at least 4.5kg(10lbs). Anyway I got two more days, who know I might take that 1kg(2lbs) off.
Aww, I gained weight today. But I lost some Body Fat and gained Body Water. Is it because I did some weight training yesterday?

On another note, I ate very little yesterday. Not because I refused to eat. It’s just it was a busy day and did not find time to cook. When, I’m at the mall I can’t seem to find anything that is allowed within my diet plan - First Phase of SBD.
Anyway, I should eat and not starve.
Last month, although I enjoyed going to Fitness First North Edsa for the Body Jam, Cardio Machines or Weight Machines, I often find myself strained and tired after a workout. When I get home, I would always complain to my husband that I’m too tired, legs and arms are stiffed, back pain and etc.
After getting a Polar Heart Rate Monitor, I realized that I am straining myself too much during exercises. Polar has automatically sets my heart rate zone to 112-140BPM. This, according to most website is ideal for weight loss. To get this, 220 - Age = Max Heart Rate. So for my case, that’s 220 - 33 = 187. And since, ideal heart rate zone for weight loss is between 60%-75%. So my lower target heart rate is 187 x 60% = 112.2BPM or 112BPM and my maximum target heart rate is 140.25 BPM or 140BPM.
During Body Jam class, I wore my transmitter and from time to time would glanced on my Polar Wrist Watch to check on my heart rate. I noticed that everytime I go higher than 140BPM I would feel my legs and arms burning. I know that I am straining myself. So, I would slow down until my heart rate would go into the zone which is 112-140BPM. So far, it’s been a week since I am doing the Body Jam class within my heart rate zone. And, I’m telling you I feel great after each workout. Rather than feel so tired and strained, I feel good and great after each Body Jam class. It’s like, hey I that was a nice workout.
Though, Body Jam is a very intense aerobics class. I still tried to do the moves but with a twist so I would not strain myself.

Four more days to go and I’m done with my First Phase of SBD. I feel great about myself. Though I’ve lost a couple of pounds these past few days. I was only able to lose some inches off my waist and tummy today.
Waist Circumference: 38in. to 37 in.
Tummy Circumference: 43in. to 42in.
So, I congratulate myself for this achievement.
